Kosovo opposition politician vows independence within 100 days

(BERLIN) - Kosovo will be independent within 100 days, opposition politician Veton Surroi on Thursday told a symposium in Berlin on the future status of the Serbian province.

"We are tired of negotiations ... Kosovo will be independent within the next 100 days," Surroi said, adding that self-rule would happen regardless of whether it was agreed in internationally brokered negotiations.
