Inspired by my former children's pastor Randy Thompson, Lindsey and I have launched a four week fundraiser entitled, "Go Fish!". It began yesterday and ends on November 15th.
For every $500 that is raised and/or pledged during I will eat one neon tetra...LIVE. There's no limit as to how many I will eat, and I plan to sit down to bowl full of them. If you make a monthly pledge I will multiply the amount by twenty-four (the number of months your pledge will be for) to give you full credit for your pledge.
We invite you to follow us along on Facebook. We have a group titled, Go Fish - NOT your typical fundraiser. In less than a week we already have over 45 brothers and sisters standing with us in prayer and/or financial support.
To make a contribution simply follow the links at the top of this webpage, or please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. Remember...the last day to either make a contribution or make me aware that you intend to contribute is November 15th.
After all the contributions have been accounted for we will purchase the fish and video a great fish feast. We'll post it online for your viewing pleasure of course...
Thank you to everyone that has already gotten involved, and to those who will. After our first day we had TWO fish in our bowl and added a THIRD just a few hours ago!
